Well, I told you I went to santa cruz and found a house. Here's a picture of us finding it: and falling in loveI stayed at Priyesh's. his house is really nice, but his son is kind of a handful: here we are went home and fell asleep, went to fuck yeah fest the fifth, which i already blogged about, but here are the people I saw: cooper suki monotonixafterwards we went to this party for itaru's uncle? a man stood by the snack bar and tried to charge 10 bucks a beer. it's weird when grown ups go out.eloise was there. she's one of the last two people in town, but not for long.
after that weekend my life was taken over, of course, by prime time premieres like gossip gil nad 90210. I give the gossip girl return an A+, but the new 90210 a C-. Don't get me started on this season's ANTM.. a) a transgender?!?! this isn't america's next drag queen.... b) tyra, you're kind of going off the deep end, but at least there's only one plus size girl on the show this season(yeah, i mean you). c) i don't know.. sheena??? nakeesha?!?? where did you find these girls??? luckily the hannah and analeigh make up for those other low lifes. Here is a clip i found that can get you acquainted with the plot and cast of gossip girl in case you have been living in a shoebox and missed last season:
anyway, tv is better than real life down here in la. i swear. on friday i went up to santa cruz with chrissy and mom, it was back and forth about whether chrissy was coming or not, but in the end she did. It was a long drive and a long weekend, but good none the less, i should have stayed there. I know. my laptop is in the trash again did i tell you? if you or anyone you know are giving away a computer i could get this show on the road and skip town already. my repair man/dad is really dragging his feet on fixing my screen. ANY WAY, it was a beautiful weekend until overcast monday. then i came home. Here's my room.. big debacle at the half off store about whether this bed would be too big/too low/ too impractical.. in the end i guess i won? deana and i lugged it home and ran into stacey and inga who helped move it in. Mom got me a flower plant as a house warming type thing. I'm kind of stressed it's not going to make it without me. I really have to get back. Isn't it perfect? Yeah...................... soooooooooooooooo whatever. I'm in LA packing up for good. See you here or there sooner or later! PS i like this picture......^^ L8!
tonight i saw this man at a little bar in korea town: aka Britney's ex-boyfriend! I think he knew I knew him, but now that I think about it.. he probably thought i was an up and coming star trying to be spotted by his people(the paparazzo) when actually I was just trying to go out and find something to blog about. Anyway.. in other news some big things have been happening as well as a lot of big nothings. I got a house in santa cruz, a little wasabe green gem on cliff street by the bowling alley. I went to fuck yeah fest V this weekend.. not quite a fuck no fest, but more of a f*ck okay fest.. I mean, the line was long to get in and the room rumspringa played in was inadequately sized. The highlights were two gallants, burritos, vodka, monotonix, and of course no age.. sike! i think there was more to appreciate than we gave it a chance. shout out to my fellow blogger suki who went with me and sister chrissy. pictures coming soon i swear. for now here: also recently was sunset junction also i went to see radiohead a couple of times which was awesome of course. the first night i went in legitimately the second night we took a cutty path in and pulled a fast one on security. i will put more time into this later but those are all the really important things that have happened. my main point was to say OMG i saw adnan ghalib, and you get get the picture.. big things are kind of happening. Mom and I are driving to santa cruz tomorrow. I need a bed, a dresser, a desk, and other stuff. I also need to have my laptop fixed and cell phone and maybe find a fake id all before I go back to school. yikes! i also have to finish packing right now i'll talk to you later, bye
So it's later than I said, but here it is.. blog of camping!
We set off on a hangover sunday morning.
Stopped for sustainable soy chorizo breakfast burritos at hugo's by the 101
we drove for ever and then stopped in Bishop, California where there are a lot of cowboy supply stores Got iced coffees and took a dip in this motel's pool. I decided I would really like to do a carpool tour of california(then maybe america) where we get a car pool of people and go swimming in the pools town to town.. it might sound stupid but it gets hot in the summer driving and i think swimming pools are one of our most underappreciated novelties in america. . . . so if you'd like to come email me and you can drive.

erin and an indian at the bakery. . . bakkery our longest bike ride, the lake to the camp site.. maybe 7 miles. maybe more. Erin's dad locked his keys in his car with the engine on not once.. TWICE. this moose head in this indian store. davey crockett hat central the faces of the minnetonka chieves indian princesses drinking from the water fall beautiful trail, we did 1/4 this day and the whole thing on the last day. several miles of heaven all together. me we had drinks at this place over here.. I foolishly got a pomagranate martini and erin got the best bloody mary my lips have ever touched. oh and the drinking age in bridgeport was 13 so we were totally cool. I like the sky in these pictures, it rained that night and the next.. and we were sleeping out side drunk so it was kind of slippery and kind of cool. when it was clear there were a million shooting stars. i made enough wishes for the year. Rhino's pool hall-- two pitchers of beer and a lot of pool and pizza. the pool we played.. shout out to erin's favorite beverage in the background>>budlight and clamato.... we got kind of good after a while, but then we let the grown ups play. this guy down here was astronomical.. you have never seen pool played like he could play it was nuts. all balls, in ONE turn. while the grown ups played we walked around the hood..saw the penitentiary, the library, and the court house below.. spooooky Here's a professional picture from google.. thanks ken the next day we hiked down to buckeye river and bathed in the hot springs. hot/cold/hot/cold. . i had trouble adjusting.... to the naked people not the water. drove down to town after that to jolly cone for ice cream and i got a sandwich.. was this the day we got the really good soup for breakfast? I think so.. prize winning tomato soup on main street. after the hot springs and lunch we went back to the lake. it was windy so we only drank a bit before trekking back to camp for snacks. cheese and wine and cracker dinner Wait.. crap.... i am missing pictures.. it's ok. there are just some photo shoots of kayaking and sitting by the lake and river that may be absent.. here we are hiking: to a waterfall tour guide it was pretty.. i never made it to the snow. . . i got scared with the boy i was hiking with. we left after that hike and stopped in lee vining for lunch: more sites bye small towns that last picture has some wind mills in the background, it was prettier irl. the last stop was mojave where i DROVE ON THE FREEWAY from.. for like 30 minutes. I had a panic attack because i don't drive on the freeway you know? so erin took over. but for a few minutes i thought omg big things ARE happening. but then they stopped.
Update on my return to civilization coming soon!!!
Salon Cat, #23

I walked down Passyunk yesterday in search of a haircut. On the way, I met
many shop/store cats. One of them was Oolie, who lives at Fringe Salon.
